Is 'CherryOS' legal?
Apple's Mac OS X license disallows use on PCs
MacDailyNews - Wednesday, March 09, 2005 - 09:19 PM EST
"Experience Mac OS X on your PC. With CherryOS -- a G4 Emulator -- you can install Panther, Apple's award-winning operating system, onto your PC. In addition, you will be able to use many of the day-to-day applications such as Safari and Apple's Mail.
Now I found another Macintosh at home. If I install this OS into my Dell PC, it becomes Apple PC that would be my third Mac at home now. Of course it's not a freeware though it's absolutely affordable price to procure new Mac.
This OS is currently be controvertial about the legality, but it's not concluded. So far it's seen that Mac users who has already registered the Mac OS in his Apple PC can use it, so I would be allowed to use it... or not?
