六四事件 is the 2nd Tiananmen Square incident on 4-June 1989.
(六 is 6, 四 is four, 事件 is incident)
When the above keyword is given on
Yahoo China, it shows a alert dialog like below because there is no data on the page.
??? Now it doesn't work any more! Am I blocked?
Let's test it!
Test 1: Exact word only?
Even if I change the keyword to the other like below.
--NG words--
六四事
四事件、
六四、
六月四日、
六月四、
月四日
四 事件
--OK Words--
六 事件
Test 2: Charactor code?
First a Keyword was copied from the top page of Yahoo China, then pasted to do searching. It shows the right search result, so the charactor might not be relative.
Test 3: Any Browser
Tested with IE,instead of Firefox, in the same manner as above. Test 2 passed, but Test 1. Once it failed, it won't work properly again.
Test 4: Cookie?
First the cookie file was erased, and Cookie was disabled on "cn.yahoo.com". But the result was same.
Conclution
Some keywords are obviously banned to search through Yahoo China, just search it with
Google.
Once it failed by using the banned words, the search function become disabled even if the new keyword is not banned. It'll be recovered after a short time. It's unknown that if the elapsed time recovers the situation, or any of the operation I did.

Later on, I found it's not a news.
