Unconfortable feeling with a gcap Campaign
It's quite "Mottainai", if people's heartful thought gets wasted and could not help the people suffering to poverty.
There is
a campaign in Japan, which is a part of
gcap campaign. The aim can be understood very much, and I want to contribute it if I can. But apparently it's
too commercialized as much as a fashion trend, which people just feel like contribution.
Therefore I have an unconfortable feeling like the following image.
Someday the precious thoughts hopefully becomes real help for people who is suffering to poverty.
Thank you for your comment.
As you mentioned. the word "Mottainai" is getting penetrated and accordingly people in the rest of world seem to become interested in Japanese people and culture. I feel this trend is like following wind for Japan.
Looking at your site, you are supposed to the first grade of Eiken, right? I recommend you to take TOEIC as well because it's much popular nowadays. Beside I also recommend a series of English text, "Alc cinema senario series", in order to close to real English.
Hopefully you get the good result in future.
Cheers,

Dear Keren,
Thank for your comment on my blog "Thought of Mottainai".
In fact I don't maintain my site so much, but I'm quite happy to hear
that you get interested in articles there and find benefitial for you
to research Mottainai. I don't know how much I can help you, but I'm
more than happy to share my idea if it can help you.
Give me your idea how you try researching it from now.

Dear 4040,
Thank you for your comment.
I also wish the campaign succeeded, but I can't find any chance because what people do and the solution seems isolated. What I fear is that those who wear white band feel that "It's going to be alright" by just wearing white band.
Obviously the solution is just temporary things. We need to think the permanent solution as well. Then we might need to change our life to date. The bottom line is that whether people realize the situation or not.
PS
My English is not good too, so don't worry.
